Her works, which she makes from Limoges porcelain and, more recently, from a Japanese porcelain mass, are usually made with thin walls until they are translucent.
Although all of the works are undoubtedly vessels, the formation of form that pays attention to pure functionality takes a back seat.

Karin Bablok, born in Donauwörth in 1964, lives in Hamburg and works in an old schoolhouse that she shares with other artists.
