Expressive vintage wall plate made of German studio ceramics, manufactured around 1955–1975.
The plate (29 cm) features a stylized animal motif (a fish/bird interpretation) in bold black and blue – typical of the modern, expressive ceramic design of the post-war period. The minimalist lines, graphic effect, and hand-painted surface make the piece a striking decorative object.

On the reverse side are a hand-painted workshop mark as well as the decoration and shape numbers "39" and "22". The perforation on the rim indicates that the plate was designed as a wall plate.
