This handmade vase comes from the Stehr ceramics workshop in Elsterwerda (East Germany, circa 1960s–1980s). Typical of the workshop are the earthy, flowing glazes, the organic shapes, and the robust, handcrafted workmanship.
The vase features a tapered silhouette and a vertically running brown-green-orange glaze, making each piece unique. An authentic example of East German studio ceramics and a decorative object for mid-century interiors, collectors, or enthusiasts of GDR design.
