The reverse marks "DRESDEN ALTSTADT 9832" and W.S.S. confirm its authenticity. Typical production of the manufactory from around 1880–1910, decorative and collectible.

The plaque depicts a finely crafted cityscape in colored majolica technique, with a three-dimensional relief and high level of detail. The reverse bears the typical marks "DRESDEN ALTSTADT 9832" and W.S.S., which are clearly attributable to the production of Schiller & Söhne.
