The Würthembergische Metallwaren Fabrik, known as WMF, was the largest manufacturer of metal, glass and household goods in Germany. The vase series comes from the tradition of art glass studios, e.g. WMF IKORA, based on designs by Erich Jachmann, a former employee of Wilhelm Wagenfeld.
