Vintage Ceramic Lion Figurine Mid Century Studio Pottery Brutalist Lion Sculpture Stoneware Animal Art Retro Shelf Decor 16 x 18 cm

Vintage ceramic lion | Mid-century Brutalist figurine | 16 x 18 cm

A striking ceramic figure of a stylized lion in the characteristic Mid-Century or Brutalist style. The distinctive design, with its large eyes, powerful mane, and sculpted forms, lends the sculpture an exceptional decorative character.

The light stoneware glaze with its dark indentations emphasizes the handcrafted nature of the piece and is reminiscent of European art and studio ceramics from the 1960s to the 1980s. The object is ideally suited as a focal point on a shelf, sideboard, or desk.

A beautiful collector's item for lovers of vintage ceramics, brutalism, studio pottery and extraordinary animal figurines.
