Traditional torc necklace made of silver alloy, crafted in Gujarat, India, in the late 19th–20th century. The band consists of twisted silver wire, reinforced at the ends with wire wrappings and joined at the front with a rigid hook clasp – typical of regional tribal metalworking techniques.
Two Indian 25-paise coins are mounted to the side of the clasp, each adorned with small silver beads. Two large triangular silver openwork pendants, constructed from horizontal rods, hang from the ends. Short silver chains extend from these ornaments, ending in silver spheres.
