A rare watchmaker's guild plaque from the early 1930s, made of heavy cast metal (approx. 400g). The relief depicts a stylized gear with spokes, the traditional symbol of the watchmaking and precision mechanics trades. Such plaques were affixed to workshop walls, shop doors, or machines and served as craft and business identification marks.
The surface has an authentic patina with age-appropriate signs of wear – exactly the kind of honest aging that collectors appreciate.
A distinctive object for collectors of watchmaking, guild symbols, industrial history, or as a striking vintage detail in interior design.

My shop offers several historical guild and craft plaques made of cast metal. The symbols shown come from various trades (locksmiths, blacksmiths, agriculture, mechanical engineering, state inspection marks, etc.) and can be purchased individually. Each plaque is an original workshop or guild mark from the period 1930–1960 with authentic patina.
Please note: Not every plaque in this series has foundry marks on the reverse. Some pieces were made in small workshops or regional guilds where markings were not standardized. Others show clear casting numbers or control stamps. Each plaque is an original craft or guild mark.
