The object displays the typical style of the Mdina workshop: organic form, robust glass, and an artful gradient of blue, gray, white, and black applied to the surface in geometric segments. The vase resembles an abstract landscape – a hallmark of early and middle Mdina production.

The vase bears the engraved base mark “MDINA GLASS MALTA”.
