An expressive ceramic figure of a bull, handmade in Poland, presumably from one of the Cepelia cooperatives or from the Bolesławiec area (1960s–1980s). Polish studio ceramics of this period are known for their strong animal forms, dark glazes, and a blend of folk art and modernist abstraction.
The bull displays a compact, powerful form, with a deep, glossy brown-black glaze and lighter reflections at the edges. The modeling is deliberately minimalist, giving it a particularly modern and sculptural appearance.
A distinctive object for collectors of Eastern European ceramics, mid-century interiors, or as a decorative individual sculpture.
