Set of two hand-thrown studio ceramic vases – signed “M” – German workshop ceramics, 1970s–1990s
This set consists of two distinctive, handcrafted ceramic vases from a small German workshop. Both pieces bear the same stamped potter's mark "M".
The vases display two different glazing techniques, typical of high-quality studio ceramics of the late 20th century.
The first vase features a warm, brown-beige gradient glaze with an organic grain reminiscent of wood – a classic engobe/glazing technique used by many studio ceramicists. The second vase displays a green-speckled, reactive glaze with a vibrant surface texture. Both forms are hand-thrown, harmoniously proportioned, and bear the mark of an experienced potter.
An ideal set for lovers of unique ceramics, Scandinavian-inspired design and authentic craftsmanship.
