A rare Art-Glass vase by Jan Beránek (weight 2.3 kg, height 24 cm) for the Czech glassworks Skrdlovice, produced in the 1960s. The piece displays a powerful, organically twisted form with a dynamic, sculptural surface. The warm amber and gold tones create an intense interplay of light, depth, and transparency – typical of Beránek's experimental studio glass phase.
The vase is solidly crafted, hand-shaped, and possesses the characteristic sculptural movement for which Skrdlovice has become internationally renowned. An impressive collector's item and a striking statement piece for modern, mid-century, or eclectic interiors.
