Rare sculpture in Art Deco style – based on a design by Jan de Baat, cast by the renowned Tenax art foundry in Veghel. The sculpture bears the signature "TENAX" and comes from the same workshop that produced the monumental version of this figure for Stationsplein in Groningen. The label on the underside indicates that it was made in 1985, possibly as a studio piece, a small series, or a collector's edition of the public artwork.
