An amber-colored, 1.4kg crystal vase from the workshops of Ludwig Moser & Söhne in Karlovy Vary, designed by the famous Art Nouveau-Neoclassicist architect Josef Franz Maria Hoffmann. It is in very good condition, except for a minimal chip on the lower edge (see photo). The octagonal basic shape of the base opens over three faceted steps and three hollow-ground belts, which continue in a wave-like manner into the interior of the vase, progressively and slightly funnel-shaped towards the top.
